Sweeney's Serpents is in the business of breeding high quality Boas and Colubrids. We also have expanded into reptile related toys, clothing and anything else we can find with scales on it, except fish.

My wife and I have a combined 30 years experience keeping and breeding many species of reptiles. Quality, selection, and good customer service is what Sweeney's Serpents is all about. Feel free to E-Mail or give us a call.

Sweeney's Serpents is also involved in developing and presenting Environmental Educational programs free to the public. We specialize in topics on Florida's ecosystems, reptiles of Florida,snakes, and genetics. We feel it is important to give back to our community and to educate the public about critters we know and love.

One thing that I would recommend is whether you buy a snake from us or from someone else, learn everything you can about the animal you are about to bring into your family.

There is a wealth of information now available in books, on the internet, and from the breeder of the critter you are interested in.

The two sites listed below have forums that are loaded with folks that have all kinds of information on reptiles. I would however utilize more than one site or reference before you make your decision to buy.

Another  thing you may not realize is that most snake species can potentially live longer than 15 years.

By doing a little research you will experience many years of enjoyable pet ownership.

• We accept several forms of payment for your convenience including Personal Checks, Postal Money Orders, and Major Credit cards thru PayPal. 
• Animals will be shipped after funds have been cleared.

  
  Why do snakes make the best pets?

TERMS

• Sex of animals are guaranteed, in the event of a mistake, the animal will be replaced with one of the same species of the proper sex as soon as possible. Sweeney’s Serpents will cover shipping.

• Any claims must be made within 72 hours of shipping. If in the case of a DOA, hold on to the animal until you get instructions from us. We will require top, bottom & side digital photos of the animal for any claim.

• All animals are guaranteed to be feeding and in good health upon arrival, If you are not happy with any animal you get from Sweeney’s Serpents, please contact us immediately for instructions.

• The buyer is responsible for knowing the laws of their state of residence. We will not knowingly ship any animal into any state where it is illegal to possess or buy the animal requested.

SHIPPING

• UPS & Fed Ex are our prefered shippers.
• All shipments will be sent overnite with no exceptions
• Days for shipping will be Monday, Tuesday, or Wenesday.
• Animals will be shipped in sturdy boxes with a styrofoam lining, meeting industry standards.
• Appropriote cool or heat packs will be utilized if needed.
  
• Animals will not be shipped if weather conditions may be damaging to their health.
